Today, the legislative session starts hearings on anti-gun bills that are up for discussion. The Democrats run the Senate and the Governor's office, the State House is populated by squishy RINO's. The head of the Senate Judiciary Committee is Ginny Burdick. This hag has made it her own personal jihad to eliminater the 2nd Amendment in Oregon. Upcoming gun control bills include:
No guns near schools
No concealed carry in any establishment that serves alcohol
Ban on .50 BMG rifles
Ban on "Assault Weapons"

The one bright spot in all of this is a local, grass roots organization called the Oregon Firearms Federation a no compromise organization that is headed by a pitbull of an activist named Kevin Starrett. He is feared and loathed by his opponents and can use all of the help he can get. Check out the web page, call or e-mail Kevin, and I'm sure you'll see what I mean.

Especially with the way they STOLE that election!! We can no longer afford to sit idly by and think the NRA is going to be effective without us. The only true power comes from the people, and grass roots activism is the most effective. Look at the website, get involved, or quit bytching!

...and you made it well. I suggest that you find a grass roots organization in your area and do what you can. Washington has it tougher than Oregon because, as we have seen, the Democrats will stop at nothing to get their way. If you contact OFF, Kevin may be able to direct you to such an organization.
