So, my friends, a 70s something set of 30-06 dies came into my posession the other day and in the box was a trim-die for 30-06 also. But how do I adjust the trim-die in the press? And do I need to lube the cases before I run them in? I have never used one of these before, only a rotary case trimmer.

Thanks for help, Kakali

Been a long time since I used one too. IIRC you bottom the die on the shell holder. Should not have to lube cases but would hurt nothing. Run the case up into the die and use a three cornered file to take off every thing that sticks out of the top of the die.
