Hey everyone,
This is kind of a random question but does anyone live in Denver that can give me some advice on where to live? I'm being transfered from Holloman in NM to Buckley in Denver next month. I'm actually in Denver now doing some house hunting and I'm a little lost. I've been looking mostly in S Aurora and Centennial as those seem to be the only places with a reasonable commute to Buckley where I can afford a house on a Lt/soon to be Capt salary. There seem to be some pretty nice places but as a 26 year old single guy I'm a little concerned about ending up stuck in suburbia surrounded by families on all sides. From what I hear most of the young people tend to live closer to downtown but I'd like to have storage for my atv and trailer, wall space for my heads, room for a reloading bench and hunting gear, ect so I'm not sure if that will work for me. I'd appreciate any advice I can get from other like minded individuals. Thanks!

I like Littleton but like all areas it has it's better and worse parts.
You probably want to pay close attention to your commute distance and route. Between Summer construction, Winter storms, and traffic accidents you could be looking at a lot of windshield time if you aren't careful.

no one is his right mine would live in denver. I live in Parker and commute up parker road to s chambers road. I work near buckely and it takes me about minutes each way. It is just over 16 miles. tom
