I kind of enjoy watching this sportsman on TV and recently noted that he was in a wheel chair and talked about some accident or incident. Does anybody know what happened to him?

Yep. Spinal stroke. Bad chit. There was a bunch of audio out there somewhere with him talking about his experience just after it happened. I really enjoy watching him.

He always wrote about how wood hull sportfisherman boats were better,in his opinion,for certain game fish.Quieter I guess.
I read stuff where he soaked his leaders in a bathtub in lanolin,to make them more flexible He had pasion A stroke is outta no where sometimes.Took my Dad outta here...

I liked watching Tred. He was off the wall and you spent half the time going wtf, but he was a guy not ashamed to come home empty handed. I liked that.
