I've always run an 8 in the past but current build will have a 9 twist cause that what it came with. I've been thinking about dabbling in stretching the range a bit and wondered if anyone has history with a 9 and some of the match bullets on the market.

I have a 260 Rem with a 9 twist. It will stabilize everything I have tried except the 142 SMK and the 140 VLD bullets. 140 partitions and interloks work fine. Most accurate bullet is a 108 Lapua in that rifle.
Basically same velocity as the Swede

It should stabalize your midrange weights of bullets the best as I have a 6.5-06 twisted 1:10 and it likes the 100 gr weight range the best and the swedes twisted their 6.5x55 rifles in at 7.87:1 as they are best suited to the 156 gr bullet so I would surely think 1:9 twist would best stabalize the 120-130gr bullet range, put the rubber where it meets the road is the only sure way tofind out...........
broken bones broken heart stripped down an torn apart a lil rust but Im still runnin countin miles countin tears twisted roads and shiftin gears year after year its all or nothin Im not home and Im not lost just holdin on 2 what I got...God and Guns

I would go with the 130 JLK or 130 Bergers.
