Looks like they have rave reviews and reasonably priced for a quality product.

Pretty highly respected in the ultralight realm. Small family business. Lots to like, particularly the shelters. I've seen most of their shelters in person, but have not owned one.
I bet Ed has some experience with them.

SU35,

Sixmoon's builds some very good, innovative UL gear. My main experience with Sixmoons was with a Europa II tent, a model that Ron built a few years ago. It was well made and a good design. Like any UL gear, more care is needed in using it.

I spent 16 days in the Lunar Duo, in Idaho last year. Great tent. An upcoming NM trip for 3 weeks, in September this year. The Duo comes in at 2.5#, and has tons of room for me and all of my gear. It is the green tent in the foreground, the grey tent is a Double Rainbow Tarptent. Both of these performed flawlessly. The tarp in the background is a 10'x12' Silnylon Equinox tarp, 19oz.

Is that Lunar Duo floorless? I assume it has a floor since it is a "tent" but it is hard to tell by the picture.

According to their site, they have 2 different floors for it, an ultralight one and a standard floor. Difference is 4 ounces.

That's ok, I'll ass shoot a dink.

That Lunar Solo is well regarded, tall guys complain about a lack of headroom while sitting up. If I wanted a tarptent style tent, this is the one I'd go with:

The Lunars come with floors. I got the lightweight floor which is perfectly fine. I do carry in a Tyvek footprint for it also. It is the bathtub style floor. Both sides can be opened up. The weather was beautiful, last year. I always set my tent, so with the sides open, I can get a good look at the sky.
