The wife and i have been catching up on the thread together these last couple of evenings. We both wish this could be a mandatory read across the country as a testament to "pulling together". Lessons we can all learn here. Bless you all and pats on the back all around.

Your mom thanked me for coming down as we left, that threw me off a bit as if it were some chore or effort... there was no where else we wanted to be today.

For any curious race fans, this years race ended in an honest tie.

You can have a rematch next year, and maybe another tie...

Yeah, it was good. Good time spent, the beer is just kind of a ... thing I started. I'm not the only one that goes there to "have a beer" with him.

I might be the only one that cracks 2 open & "races" with him though.
