I'm putting new wood on a beater EG. I notice on the bottom of my original fore-end that there is a small bushing around the screw hole. It almost looks like a very thin press-on ring. The underside of the screw head rests on this. It doesn't seem to be listed as a Savage part or on any of the diagrams. I've searched for similar items and nothing quite fits the bill. Where could I get one, or find a substitute? Thanks,

I will if it comes down to it, but it looks corroded. If I can find a new one, or a substitute, I would prefer that.

It would be the simplest thing imaginable to make.

It's called an escutcheon and I have new ones.
Send me a PM if interested.
