I got a car today too, I texted dave a pick and he sent me the one of the "acid trip paint job" looks cool!
I had to get rid of the rodeo and went with an Impala for better mileage. it was so hard not to get a pickup, but I had to do the "needs" and not the "wants"

Alrighty righty, righty! we made it back home safe & sound & we're looking forward to some fun at camp tomorrow! We'll try to get some pics.

Started working on the F-150 a bit this week. Once I get the damn bandage off my hand I can actually do some real work on it.

The goal is to have it ready, at least in driving condition by "Deer Camp 2010." It needs to drive down the chickenbuck drive way for muzzy loader season.

I would love to come up berry pickin but I have a meeting with my DAV rep this afternoon,we're finally making progress with the VA. at least they acknowledge I exist now, in fact they are saying I skipped out on 5 appointments in the last year, although they admitted they sent the notifications to Virginia, even though my MN address was in the system. no one had enough common sense to wonder why a guy in virginia would be trying to get into the fargo VA..... but I digress.
if it falls through for some reason I'll be northbound immediately, I'll let you know what happens.

and for the bunkbeds the school said they wouldn't know how many they would be getting rid of until later in august, so when I know how many I'll let those interested know, sounds like we'd get them for free as long as we carry them out and load them ourselves.

Looks like we've got a rainy day here anyways. we'll look for some mid day sunshine for our berry picking but then i think rain will chase us back into the cabin for the evening. supposed to be nice tomorrow though.

its sure clouding up here and thundering, why can't that stuff hit during the week and leave the weekend nice for us?

We have nasty hot today down here. Clouds are building, fixing to get good here tonight.

How'd it go up on your end of town, Tom-that area you're in seems to get hit every time the twisters revisit us.

No kidding.... that's what the neighbor said too. We got hammered, durring the storm. Neighbors were over and I made Ribeye's on the grill, with sauteed onions and shrooms, and a pile of taters and onions on the grill too. The powere went out while we were sitting in the basement bs'ing and having old fashonds.

Our house was the only one that didn't have major tree damage. We have a bunch of twigs and stuff, but nothing serious.
