Glad to hear you escaped any major damage. We picked another inch plus of rain over the weekend.

we have plenty of those. I was visiting my mom and dad in duluth last week and the mosquitoes were pretty bad.

Headed back up there now.

Woooooooweee. The hunting land just barely avoided major hail damage. And when I say just barely, I am literally talking yards. On the other side of the road, it is hard hit and within a mile completely decimated. On our side of the road, you can barely tell. Literally 200 yards makes a huge difference.

Here is a Cole update: he is done with his chemo treatments!! I saw him on Saturday and he was running around just like the other kids. He has a end of treatment scan tomorrow at 10:30....that is a big one. We all hope and pray that he is cancer free. If so, he is free to be a kid again and only go in for scans I think. The re-occurance rate is really high for this type of cancer, so the worries remain, but so far so good!

Berettaman,

That's awesome to hear! I hope the scan returns cancer free results.

My prayers go out to Cole and the family. Hope everything looks good when he has the scan. Keep us updated of what they find out.

The word from the guys setting out bear baits is that you need a head net as well as a barrel of bug dope.

We have standing water around the deer shack for the first time in years.

BM, great news about Cole. We'll keep him in our prayers.

started to dig into my trailer project today and found she was too far rotted to do anything with. So a search on craigslist will be my next step. Well, I got some torch work in anyway...it's always good to work with torches. grin

What kind of trailer are you looking for. I will keep my eyes open for one. PWM sure liked Jeremy's new trailer this weekend. We kept the back ramp down and he rode his bike up and down it. He was having fun.

Oh and by the way, be careful with that torch. You don't need another accident.

Just a 4 or 5x8 or so for hauling a wheeler to camp. Really that's all it'll be used for.

I just took the stitches out today, they were itchy as heck. Plus, chicks dig scars...they do right?

Man them blue berries look good enough to eat. We're picking raspberries this afternoon if the rain holds off.

Whooo hooo. Got the '55 F-100 running and moved around a bit, as much as I could without any breaks. shocked

she idles pretty quick, which has been an on going issue since I put the 351 W in it.

Breaks were stuck from sitting. I freed those up last week. only needed a BFH on one of them.

I don't think I'll get it on the road this fall, but the goal is next spring.
