Fast idle cam for the choke might be holding the idle speed open, they get stuck sometimes.

just an idea.

I'll check that.

I've tried different carbs, different intakes, and a two different distributors. Would anything on the heads make it do that?

did you leave any berries out there Dave? is anyone gonna be around this weekend?

We didn't even make a dent in the berries Ryan, there is a good chance we will be back out there some this weekend.

Something just isn't letting the butterflies close enough to idle down.

we might have found it. There is a vacuum leak where the heads bolt and manifold connect. Like a little divot from a hammer, or prying up a intake manifold. That maybe would explain why it didn't change with a different carb or intake mani. We'll see.

Good thing you moved Tom. Wausau area got hit by a storm Tuesday afternoon. Lots of trees down. 1,500 people still out of power as of 6:00 AM today.

the BIG Cole update:

Cole had his scan yesterday and .....was cancer free!!! That is such good news as his type of cancer has a very high return rate. as of right now, he is doing great, treatment over, getting his port out next week and no cancer. The worries are still there that it will come back, but as of right now YAHOOOOO!

Thank you for keeping him in your thoughts and prayers. Dont let up, he still is in a battle for his life. But at this point, he is beating the odds and doing well.

We are on the way back from the cities. it was a good scan. no new growth. we are excited and scared at the same time. we will be back next tuesday to remove the port. we are excited for Cole to get back to normal. It will be weird to see him with hair, or me for that matter. (This is Jon by the way) we appreciate all your prayers and support.

Great, great news. Somebody was listening to us.

Truthfully, it sucks. I'm not the type that likes not having a job. It bothers me a lot more than it bugs my wife. Especially since we found out what daycare costs.

I think the kids like it. I try to keep them busy outside. jack is my shadow, so that's pretty easy, but his sister would rather be inside so keeping her busy outside is a bit tougher.
