I have a Weatherby Mark V Deluxe and it came with a Weatherby scope. Does anyone know who made these scopes for Weatherby?

The ones from the 80's and early 90's were made in Japan, and were trade named and importd by Tasco for Roy Weatherby. Tom.

The Weatherby Imperial was a German scope manufactured by Hertel & Reuss...The Weatherby Premier and Supreme were made in Japan by Asia Optical Company...The Premier was introduced in 1972 and the Supreme in 1984..

I have a several of each...I have 2 of the Supremes and they still work fine...3x9x44 on a 240 and 4x44 on a 340.....I was told by an authorized Weatherby dealer the Supreme was the best scope Weatherby made...the German scopes were good and Parsons in Ohio reworks those..the only problems I have had on the Imperials is as the power increases past 7...the crosshair goes off center..and the adjustments become hard to turn with scope age...

I haven't figured out how to post a pic yet but anyway I have the 3-9X44 Supreme. The rifle came with the scope mounted on Buehler mounts from Weatherby. Any idea what the package is worth? Mark V Deluxe,300 wby mag,Buehler mounts, 3-9X40 Supreme scope.98-100% made in (I think) the early 90's out of Japan. BB for gun alone is 1350-$1650. Thanks for the info.

Given the same conditions...overall Japan Weatherbys are not worth quite as much as the German rifles...but that changes day to day...right now values are down...check out gunbroker.com for what things are selling for now...or try cabelas gun library on cabelas site...except for a Weatherby collector the Supremes are not a scope that is in demand...I have seen them sell for $130-$199 like new at gun shows...

I see lots of Mark V Deluxe in 300 wby for sale but none like mine which came out of factory with scope mounted. Just wondered what its value was as a package.
