Up for sale is a Model 1899 Savage in the popular 250-3000 caliber. It is the takedown version and includes a Marble Tang site. According the serial number it was manufactured in 1918. The wood and metal have not been refinished and it is losing its bluing on receiver but metal is in good condition. No cracks in wood only normal wear and a few scratches that can probably be worked out. Unfortunately it has a recoil pad and swivel studs but everything else is original. Chamber and bore are in good condition as well as checkering and lever. Very good condition for a used 1918 gun. Tang site is in good working order as well. Please feel free to email me with any questions or special pictures you would like. I will do my best to answer to the best of my knowledge. However this is being sold as is and I will not offer any returns. I am not a FFL or business, this is a privately owned gun.
I will only ship to a FFL in your area. Buyer is responsible for all fees for shipping and FFL. Will be shipped USPS with signature confirmation and insurance.
Asking $950 but might consider lowering the cash price with an offer of a .243
