Good morning everyone! I get to drive the RR to work today...I'm a little excited. Hope I don't spill my coffee when I'm shifting those gears. Finally pried it away from Dave long enough so I could drive it ONE day. Geez. At least he didn't get as mad as Weezie did when I took her Mustang, guess mom has to ask to take the car nowadays. My oh my. Well if you hear tires squealing or the smell of burnt rubber, think of me and know that Dave trained me well or maybe I'm just a good observer. Oh boy, let me just tell you right now the bird is not a coffee friendly machine. Drink your coffee before you head to work, you'll thank me later

I think it is your turn next for a restorable after the RR is done. Then you wouldn't have to ask permision. Sorry Dave. What would be your choice in car?

You need to start your planning on what you want RWS. Maybe a 99 white chevy pickup....with holes in the doors.

As far as Pam goes I already have one at home for her and it's not too bad of a project. It's a really nice old chevy. 66 2 dr hard top caprice with a 327 & a powerglide, power brakes, power steering, nice car that needs a little tlc.

I know I would love to have Waylon's caprice. That was a nice car after he got it all fixed. Now it definately needs some tlc. If they ever decided to sell it for some reason, I would come up with the money somehow.

How about a 53 Chev 4 door sedan with power glide for a 1st car RWS?

That would be cool, but we actually have a 54 chev 2dr post (210 Delray) at home waiting for it's turn to be reborn.

Glad you guys all had a super weekend.
I took the family camping (in tents), for a 4 day long weekend.
Survived all 4 days, even with thunder storms each day !!
After we got drowned setting up, we managed to get the camp weather proof.
Ate like kings, relaxed like dogs & swam like fish.
Picked lots of chanterelles & blueberries too.
Been a great year for the "wild stuff" up here. Just hoping it extends into hunting season !!

I have a funny story. Just talked to Jeremy's mom and they have been having skunk problems. They put out 2 traps, the neighbor lady gave them some sleeping pills to crush up and put in the catfood in the trap. They figured they wouldn't be likely to spray if they were knocked out. Well they caught 2 skunks the other night. They were just stumbling around in the traps. They called the pest guy down the road and he got rid of them. They were telling the neighbor lady about this and she looked a little closer at the bottle she got the pills from and they were not sleeping pills. They were pills for restless leg syndrome.

thats tooo good there!! we've been having a skunk problem at deer camp and think we've gotten at least 6 this summer. checked the trap night before last and we had a foot from one in there. never did see the skunk yet, figured we'd know if we seen him going in circles....

Camp is where you make it.
