Granddaughter dropped my Panasonic DMC-TZ3 and I think it is dead so I my be on the lookout for a new camera. Have not looked at the point and shot in a long time so not sure what is good out there. Looking for something with good zoom 8-12x and quality. Thanks

Also look into the Olympus waterproof/shockproof/dropproof/dustproof/etcproof cameras. Great little cameras for outdoors people. Call Joel at CameralandNY.

How much are you looking to pay? Nikon is a good brand. I have a Nikon Coolpix L110. It is 12.1 megapixel with 15x optical zoom. http://www.amazon.com/Nikon-L110-Vi...mp;ie=UTF8&qid=1281064309&sr=1-1It is a nice point and shoot that feels like a compact SLR. Outdoor Cali
