Redneck-That is a nice stock on that rifle. Do you plan on mounting a scope on it?

top rifle is Rem 700, Lilja three groove 1-8", #7 in a McM A1-3 with Badger bottom metal. bottom rifle is Rem 700, Brux 1-8" in Rem Sporter (not mag) contour in an McM ADL Classic. and one i parted out this spring when the barrel puked. it was fun, though

Redneck-That is a nice stock on that rifle. Do you plan on mounting a scope on it? I don't even plan on putting fingerprints on it.. Redneck is that a Super Grade Classic M70 .264 or some other limited edition? It's a Custom Shop Winnie... It's the nicest one of the bunch... I take it out and look at it once in a while.. Hehehehee.. It'll never have a shell through it..

It'll never have a shell through it.. I simply can't fathom that. It's a sickness... Got another M70 SG in .264 that's NIB.. Never had the bolt in the action since it left the factory... It's my 401K, sort of..

Well it started life as a 26" barrel 264 WM. It's a long story on why it changed, but it is now a 24 1/2" 6.5mm-300 Win Mag. A 140gr will travel just over 3300 FPS out of the barrel now.

Redneck, you really should shoot those things...I have the brother to the one in your photograph, and it's a tack driver. Mine is vintage 2000 or so, one piece bottom metal. Deer and antelope don't like it much...

It'll never have a shell through it.. I simply can't fathom that. It will probably put somebody through college some day. But I am with VA', I could not own a firearm without running bullets through the bore.

I don't own a .264, but my farmer brother-in-law has a pre 64 mod 70, (Westerner?), that I have always coveted. The owner of one biggest sporting good stores in the area like to hunt quail on his farms. My BIL always got sweet deals on guns. I stocked the quail pairs each year because I hunted there, also.
