Yeah, I bought the Hornady Ultra Sonic Case Cleaner and it works as advertised.

It takes a little fiddling with, as it will only run for 480 seconds at a time. I find it takes several cycles to get cases clean.

I also found, to my surprise, that I needed to move the cases around in the liquid a time or two to actually get all the cases clean on the inside.

I am quite surprised when I dump the used liquid out how darned dirty it gets, it REALLY gets all the powder residue and such off the cases.

However, if you are used to tumbling your cases you may be dissapointed. This item will clean them for sure, but it will NOT polish them. The cases do not come out all nice and bright like tumbling them in some media.

I think that's normal (no polish), I was wondering how strong of a unit they made for 100 bucks. Good deal it works, give how hard powder burns in residue wise I'm not surprised at the 15 minute cycle (~two times the 480 seconds)

I was thinking it might be a handy thing to clean jewelry with as well.

I have one also, and like it. I have used it with just water in the tank and the brass in a beaker with whatever cleaning agent you use. You use much less cleaning solution when you just have to fill up a 400-600ml beaker and not the entire tank.

I use the formula that was on the 6mmBR site. I was most surprised at how clean the primer pockets get. Inside of the case is also very clean.

And yes, your wife will love it for her jewelery.
