After my first safari, I cant see enough pictures or read enough stories!

I will start with a few of my pictures, but lets see yours!

Feel free to take a stab at the size of the animals I took:

First African Animal, Cape Bush Buck
[Linked Image]

My 3rd animl (second was a cull impala). Probably one of my favorites, a large impala. Pictured with my PH's son and my skinner, Sutu
[Linked Image]

Then was my Black Wildebeest
[Linked Image]

Same day, my Cape Red Hartebeeste

[Linked Image]

Very nice Cape Kudu

Baboon #1

Mountain Reedbok

Nice Black Springbok

Baboon #2 (this one was taken with my .257 wby that was influenced by the 'fire)

Casey,
Great pictures, love the Kudu. Of all the animals, they were by far my favorite to hunt. If I were to guess, I would say that Kudu scored 98. Close?

Yep...but no .270......

I don't mind being called " The Dinkmeister" and things like that, but saying I shoot a .270 is slander.... shocked

Mike,

I love that Sable of yours as well but I really like that Klipspringer. I've said this in the past but I think it bears repeating: the little guys over there can be the toughest trophies to get. Klippies, Vaal Rhebok, and a lot of the Duikers, especially the forest species, can really test your skills as a hunter (notice I did not say "shooter" or "killer"). Not saying that the larger African species can't be a challenge but these smaller antelope can be amazingly difficult to "get in the salt".

I'm becoming more tolerant of intolerant people.

Bowhunter,
Love the Eland. Did you get a chance to try the steaks? Probably the best tasting steaks I've ever eaten.

I have also posted these pictures before but here you go. Headed back to Namibia June 2011 for a zebra. Not sure what else but have 10 months to figure it out.

Out of all these the springbok was the hardest hunt. Had a real hard time getting close. Ended up taking a 275 yd shot.

Some very impressive trophies, guys. Congrats

I posted mines only a few weeks ago (some already saw some of them) from my first hunting travel, Namibia open range.

Now I've got that strong disease named 'Post Safari Depression', looking for things to sell in order to start again, looking for eland, steenbok, duiker, maybe some cat, then I guess I'll want something bigger and bigger as long as I can find money for it or try those bow I can't use for hunting anything but foam and paper in my country crazy

Hell, even just for the landscape it worthed the trip.
