The half dozen or so that my buddies own in tis neck of the woods are all tack drivers. They all love them. First five shots out of my cuz's 25-06 went into under .6 at 100, 3 under .4.

Love the Tikka's, Here are some in Action From my Africa trip a few weeks ago. All up 4 TIkka's made the trip and none disappointed T3 Battue in 9.3x62 T3 lite 300WSM T3 lite 9.3x62 T3 lite 9.3x62 T3 lite 9.3x62 All these rifles shoot moa or better, lightweight, ultra smooth action great triggers. I've replaced my shroud and added a larger bolt knob, waiting for Mcmillan or Manners to release a hunting stock for the T3 lite and it will be a complete rifle. Rath

I can't speak for the particular rifle but have ran 55 Grain V Max slugs out of an AR with a 1-8" twist with great success. I used a max charge of W748 for the particular load and groups were one ragged hole at 100 yards. I ran a full thirty round mag into a hole about the size of a nickel @ 100 YDS. FWIW.
Keep your powder dry and stay frosty my friends.

I wish we could get the T3 in the 9.3x62 here in the states.

Perhaps if you posted an inquiry on this forum asking for committed buyers for a Tikka 9.3x62 you could get a big enough response for Tikka to export some to the USA?

T3 Lite 8 twist .223. Shoots like a match rifle and carries like a mountain rifle. Coyotes hate it.
THE CHAIR IS AGAINST THE WALL. The Tikka T3 in .308 Winchester is the Glock 19 of the rifle world. The website is up and running!www.lostriverammocompany.com

My .22-250 with a decent dose of H380, and a 52 match king shoots lights out.
In the process of trading off two other rifles for an A7 in .300 wsm and a tikka in .7mm Remington Magnum.

I have one in .30-06 and love it. I took a 9' brown bear with it this spring for its first blooding. I don't know what I could add about its virtues that hasn't already been stated. It's my all around Alaska rifle and light enough for sheep or goat hunting should I ever be motivated enough to climb up to where they're found.
What I will say, although this has more to do with the larger calibers than it does the .223, is I would swap out the OEM scope rings for either a set of Talleys or Warnes. I went with the Warnes for mine. For anything larger than .223, swapping the recoil pad for a Limbsaver is a good idea if you do a lot of shooting.

Rath And just as I was getting excited, the 9.3x62 is not available in the USA? I'm hating the fact that the CZ is the only option right now. CLB

CLB Unfortunately CZ still hasn't started making the 550 in left-hand either, otherwise I'd have snapped one up long ago. But I'd get a Tikka in 9.3 in a heartbeat if they offered it. I'm sure they'd send some left-handers this way.
