Couple of years ago, we wound up packing a beauty bull elk down out of the high country in Colo. Simply put, we weren't prepared for it all. By the time it was over, I swore I'd never, ever, go back up there and do it again, not ever. One of the other guys, older than me no less, just grinned at me. He said, "this pain will fade, and all of this will turn into a great memory, and you will come back." I realy hate it when them old guys are right!
