Vern and I had lunch the other day, always good to see that cuss, and we wondered whether Joe could pull Anchorage, believe he's got FBKS in the bag, but Anchorage is where elections are decided.
Art what's your take on the Anchorage voters? Are they ready to throw her out and elect ironbender if need be?
I'm pretty certain when we sing our anthem and mention the land of the free, the original intent didn't mean cell phones, food stamps and birth control.

BTW, I like Liiisa's ads the last week or so. An awful lot about her "fighting", keep "Alaska's seniority", and fighting for "our home".
I don't think she has the same thing in mind as the rest of us!

I got a phone call too.
Normally, I will answer and hang up immediately just to cut them off. I took the time to let them know that I didn't know anyone voting for Liiisa and that she was toast. If Lisa is voted out, I'm hoping that it's a wake up call of AK politicians that their jobs are not safe if they try to blow smoke up our asses.

I am getting the feeling Joe has Anchorage, too. I am getting multiple mailings daily from Lisa and have been for the last week or so. She has thrown a ton of money at this (not hers) and knows she is toast... Driving around I see far more Joe signs. That is my read.
Frank joked about getting a personality transplant just before he was smoked... I think he just traded with Lisa.

just read a piece in Market Watch detailing the elections in AK, AZ and FL
they made it sound like FL was the only close race with both LM and McCain having comfortable leads.
they did quote a Tea Party sponsored Nielsen poll that showed the gap between Lisa and Joe had narrowed to 4 points, but early on said it was 64-35 in favor of Lisa
I hope we unseat her, I really do, if anti incumbent isn't at a fever pitch in this country now, I don't know what it would take
course I'm sobered by the fact this state elected Mark Begich, so it's hard to be confident the electorate will do the right thing.

I have gotten two more calls this AM to go vote for Lisa... She has to know she is in trouble to go this far. Second caller I managed to engage for a little bit and told her I had already voted against Lisa and wish I could again...
"Oh, well I really don't know much about her stands".
Great! Folks that do not care, nor even know about who they are encouraging people to vote. Change an election through stupidity!

When Lisa was telling the media about how Ted had trained her and took her under wing and how she bragged up how she was the senior senator, that was when my mind was made up. I thought it was rather crude the way she talked about herself when it should have been about Uncle Ted.
Joe is getting mine and my wifes vote. I'm tired of her bs lies and tv ads.

After seeing that vid of her and the response I got from her, (see my post above) I voted for Miller today. I really, really hope Alaskans don't do their normal "vote for who's in office" thing and this time kick the RINO out of office.

I just got home from voting and the nice old lady was amazed cuz I was #100 that voted. Now thats sad. 4PM and I was the hundredth person.
