Last time I went to an Oktoberfest I got kicked out for fighting.... girls and beer were both part of the reason.

This was in the late 90's. Was at Oktober Fest at the Duluth Air Natioiual Guard Base, with a pile of buds. Some clown kept bugging Knapper, just to be an AH. Knapper's one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet and never been in a fight in all his life. Which was wierd in itself because we were all on the same hockey team in high school and we like to fight. So the dude says somthing about Knapper trying to grab his girl's azz, and then smacks him. I didn't see the hit, but I heard it, you know the sound....then Knappers on the ground. Then Kreags (one of the craziest and funniest people I know) is on this guy like white on rice. Kreages is about 6' tall and a buck 20 at the time, real wirey... He was having a bit of a time with the AH so I thought, with some persuasion from the beer of course, that it looked like Kreages needed some help, well the AH's pals thought HE needed some help. Then you have your typical bar room brawl, except in this case it was a large tent in the middle of a large parking lot. Since nobody was hurt except for a few cuts and brusies, and about 1/2 the dudes in the brewhaha worked at the guard base, they thought it would be best that we went home since 1/2 those cats were going to be in trouble on Monday anyway.

My last duty station was at Antigo Radar Station which was a satelite of Duluth when it was an active USAF base. I had to go up there to take my discharge physical back in 68.
I have the new computer up and running, but still need to do some fine tuning. Like windows 7 so far, but I have a lot of learning to do about were everything is hiding.

Well I text Captain Bang Flop. He started classes on Monday and is sounds like he likes it so far.
I am out of order until further notice. My "stupid people" filter needs cleaning and my "give a damn" batteries have run out.

Did you win the fight that's funny! I could have. Some kid punched Jack in the back, Jack gave him one right in the forehead. At least we didn't have to go to the principals office....yet. He's a smart boy but has a temper like his dad.

My grandson (Age 5) did the same thing. An older kid squashed his sandwhich so he hauled off and decked him. He's got a short fuse, gets it from his mother.

The kid was a goof ball. Was doing it to another kid too. He's pa was about 110# too. Big hoop earings in, mohawk (the dad)....sadly the kid prolly don't stand a chance.
Really, its a small school. The town we live in has 15K people or so. The school size is quite a bit smaller than where we moved from.
