YUP they are GREAT chrono's for the $$$. Mine has been dropped on concrete 2x's from about 4'. The first time it popped open and the inards came hanging out everywhere. I was just gonna toss it but later in a bored moment started putting it back together. Everything slid back into it's slots or snapped back where it should and the darn thing was back at work again. The next time I dropped it the wire to the battery broke. Fixed that and it works again. Only hitch now is I have to play with the off/on switch a bit but once it fires up it never misses a shot.
I bought a new spare this spring but haven't had to put it to use yet!!!

I just got one from retailer in Canada who had them at good price. It replaced my 20 yr old Chrony. All I can say is that it worked great at my range session yesterday, no error readings using 308 and 300 Win Mag rifles. Another shooter at the range had the same one and he had no issues. I like it much better than the Chrony (old style cardboard skyscreens) which had been giving me the occasional error reading (old age? worn out?, dirty sensors?). It was time for a new chronograph and I might have considered a newer Chrony, but my retailer only had the Pro Chrono in stock. He told me had lots of positive feedback on it from his customers, he was right!

I also prefer the one piece body over the fold up Chrony design.

Highly recommended.
