Better today. My hands still hurt but that's normal, or I expect it anyways. My hands don't work that great to begin with, they are either open or closed but that's about the extent of my dexterity. That's why my handwriting is so poor, I just cant make my hands cooperate. When I do something like pound away with a slide hammer driver like that they get really bad for a while.
I'm excited to get that sand point working better this week. We'll head out there maybe tomorrow after work and see if we can get it blown out better.

I can't wait for a few weeks and I can see it in person. My baby girl starts second grade today, she's gettin big. Mini-man starts tomorrow. Thank gawd he's going to all-day Kindergarten. Mama will be sad that her "baby" is going to school, but me...my ears need a break.

My oldest boy didnt want to go back to school this morning. He asked if we could just go out and work on the deer stand instead and give school a try another day.
Our landowner called and told me that he has two deer picked out for the boys a 6 point and a long spike.
They are so geeked it is not funny.

My little girl is off to 1st grade today. A wicked rain and northwest wind at 25 mph met her at the bus stop. And wouldnt ya know it....the bus was 10 minutes late. So mom and her stood out there freezing for 15 minutes til it came. Mom took pictures of her getting on the bus.
The boys? Oh my. I had given the girl a toy gun that when you pull the trigger makes a rifle shooting sound. They found that yesterday and ohmygosh. Fights are constant over it. That is the deal with twins, you gotta have 2 of everything. of course, I am kinda proud and happy they are fighting over a gun. Momma? not so much.
What you do today is important, you are trading a day in the rest of your life for it.

Dont forget guys MN doe lottery deadline is the 9th for those areas that apply. I'm good there, all three area's I'd hunt are Intensive harvest or whatever it is, so no app needed. I bought one bonus tag. I may have to buy another if I shoot a doe, so I can hunt black powder at Chickenbuck.

Dave I think you may also qualify for the landowner tag as well.
Or would that be Pam....;)

Yeah I'm not so completely interested in the land owner tag. I drift off onto the state land too much for that. Pam's the boss though so yeah it would probably be her that qualifies for that one.

Wow, you did some amazing work out there this weekend. So did they wreck the road bad enough so Jeremy can't get his pickup out there? Well guess it wouldn't take much.
I am out of order until further notice. My "stupid people" filter needs cleaning and my "give a damn" batteries have run out.
