There are a few ways you can tell if the Husqvarna was built on a Mauser 98 action. First, the Husqvarna 98's used a large ring action, so on the left receiver wall, there should be a step where the receiver ring joins the receiver wall. The Husqvarna-designed action is a small ring action where the ring joins smoothly to the receiver wall with no step.
Second, the Mauser 98 actions all have a box shaped bolt stop that also contains the ejector.
Third, the Husqvarna 98 rifles had the safety mounted on the bolt shroud, whereas the Husqvarna-designed actions have a safety on the right side next to the bolt shroud.
Fourth, the Husqvarna 98 rifles have an ejector slot in the left locking lug, whereas the Husqvarna-designed rifles have a solid locking lug.
Hope this helps.

Ask SBHVA, as he is the resident expert on all things Husqvarna. Husqvarnas in 7x57 are a lot less common than those in 8x57 or 9.3x57, but the price that you get for it will, as with most things, depend on condition/condition/condition.

Date is a guess at best, 50's to 60's. I have one with a serial number close to yours and it was made in the mid 50's.
Is the bottom metal steel? Seems they did the change at some point in the early 200,000 range.

It looks like an HVA small ring Mauser style action, but the stock doesn't look factory to me. I don't think that I've ever seen a Husqvarna factory specs stock without checkering. SBHVA would know.
