What would you wear to be legal? An orange wet suit?

The assload of rain you've been getting doesn't help either.

As long as it isnt speedos The rain is getting about out of control around these parts, the ground is fairly saturated. That could be good for hunting as it will move into dryer areas. Not so much if we get a freeze and the surface covers while the bottoms drains. Talk about busting thru and making noise. Once again we add waders to our deer hunting list.

Just checked my trail camera and there were pics of a doe and fawn. There was also a couple of an 8 pointer taken at 9:53 this morning.
I am out of order until further notice. My "stupid people" filter needs cleaning and my "give a damn" batteries have run out.

I'm getting a bit frusrtated with the job thing.... Got a call from a concrete company litteraly just down the road. They wanted my resume. So I gave them one. They called me this morning and said my qualifications are ideal but since I have a college degree, they feel I'm over qualified. WTF...
I called back this afternoon and told them I'd at least like to come in for an interview. How can you be too qualified for that? I just don't understand that.
I live 1/2 mile from their shop, it's not like I'd look for another job. You don't get a chance to work in your backyard very often.
OK sorry for whinning. I had to get that off my chest.

I will try to get the pics posted tonight, if not I will get them tomorrow.
Being turned down for a job because you are over qualified, is one of the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Jeremy's aunt had the same problem when she was looking for a job. STUPID!

Yeah you recognize that corner right?
Right where the water is you peel off the trail to the left to go to your ground blind.

Right.
Guessing she's mighty wet in those Cedars too. Did you guys see any grouse? They were probably swimming if you did. ROR.
Season starts on Saturday. I'll be over by your dad's place on Sat. afternoo or Sunday morning.

There is a small pond beyond that dirt pile that I dug with an excavator, it ended up holding water quite well. To the left past the dirt pile Jeremy has turnips and clover planted. To the right is the neighbors field and I'm not sure what is in there. I set the camera about 10 yards from my bow stand. So this is the view I have. The buck come down a trail we have on the north side of our property. To the left of my stand our other neighbor has a deer plot planted. They travel that trail alot.

I got 1 picture of a pair of deer ears at the bottom of the picture frame. We adjusted the angle of the camera on saturday so hopefully we are no longer relying on birds in the sky to trigger the camera.

Hows the well pump working Dave?
We should hear from Grizzly Bill pretty soon. He was up north chasing bears with the boys.

The well is doing better. Pump time is down to about 20 seconds per cycle on the pump handle.
We have still not brought that air compressor out there & just let it push air for an hour or so like we had planned. Maybe this week yet.

never enough time to get everything done. I've felt like a one legged man in a butt kicking contest lately myself. I can't believe all the water on the road. on the plus side it will keep people from coming back in there too far I'll hunt around for a dead end sign, I know a couple of places I can check to see if they have an extra
