That is a nice doe. Is that taken from right under Pams stand?

You can see her stand in the upper left side of the picture. It's across from her stand. chip shot.

No new pics from my camera today. We are suposed to get rain tonight and tomorrow so maybe they will come out. The neighbor said he got a pic of twin 6 pointers on his camera lastnight. his camera is only about 70 yards from mine.

I got a game cam today. I got a Moultrie D-55IR. 5 megapixels, 50 foot infared flash, day video clips. Shows time, date, temp, & moon phase. I also got a free mineral bucket with it. Now I just have to figure out how to run it, it is my first one. Ryan, this is what kind of camera I got. I like it so far.

Hey great pictures guys!! love the spruce grouse! goes great with gin right? I think they taste the same don't they? Yeah, they are certainly much more "gamey" than Ruffs, different texture too. I can eat 'em, but the wife & kids shy away. Got a surprise the first time I cleaned one, there breasts are bright purple ! Think grape pop ! When you cook them, they turn an unappealing grey colour too. Paul.

checkin them out online now, looks like the most bang for the buck. I like the pics it takes I had bought the Moultree 40 but I got it out of the package and it had a small crack in the glass display cover so I brought it back. Of course they didn't have anymore of that model. So I paid an extra $10 and got the better one. I paid $119 for it at L&M Fleet in DL. Plus I got that $19 bucket of mineral free.

I figured that's where you got it.
I have less of a reason to buy one now that the crappy cam started taking pictures again but I try to stay up to speed on what kind of luck people are having with the current brands & models out there.
Sure looks like you got a good one.

Youth waterfowl day this weekend as well folks, for those of you not chasing timber chickens, throwing sticks around, chopping brush, fixing stands, etc.
Last weekend of early goose season as well.

It's a wildview. It took some time off last year when I needed it the most. It works when it feels like working

Took the boys out looking for deer where we hunt last nite. Lotsa freezer pleezers ( I like that name) and then....and then.....just as it got dark, no more than 3/4 mi from my stand....a great buck. I could only see 8 points, but he was really wide....20" or more. Easily 4-5" past his ear to the INSIDE of the beam. he was tall....prolly 12" G2s and 10" G3s. And the rack was thick. Big ol' body....sagging back and it looked like he had a beer belly. Now I got some goooooood daydreaming material for the next 2 months!

Disclaimer: Note I do not in any way intend this to reflect the current behavior of Dave it is satire or at least a poor attempt. But back in the day now that is another story "hold my beer and watch this s#*&"
