My little man seems to be left handed, he often writes with his left hand anyways. But if you watch him play he throws with his right hand most of the time and when he plays with toy guns or his bb gun he aims & shoulders right handed... Strange

Pam writes lefty but shoots right handed.

I would give my right arm to be ambidextrous.

Well then you wouldn't exactly be ambidextrous any more now would you?

T no i didnt take it that way and apologize if i came across that way.

With my kids it was all about them being ready and me making sure they had the training. Watching hunting shows and pointing out good shots and bad ones, constantly harping on muzzle control, constantly making sure they know how to check chambers and magazine wells, talking about what it means to make good and bad shots, etc.

Dave, the sharp recoil must be in the .308's because I had a 7600 that did it too. Real quick, hard to explain. It didn't bother me, but I can see where it would bother someone that hasn't done much shooting.

OTOH, the .280 in have now has a lot less recoil than I thought it would. Way less than the 06. I thought it would be close to the same.

Mini-man is the same way. hasn't figured out his "hand" yet. CTM (cries too much) was a lefty right out of the gate.

just got a text from my mom, by grandpa passed away at 5 am today
gonna make it hard to take a test in 30 minutes.

RIP grandpa Earl. He was a WWII vet who was shot in the Philippines during the start of the big push to take the islands. he was drafted at the same time as my real grandpa a week after pearl harbor, they were 3rd cousins and very close. they made a promise to each other that if something were to happen the one who made it back would take care of the others family. when my grandpa (papa) passed in 1985 his cousin married my grandma so he could take care of her and keep the promise he made to my grandpa. we lost grandma to Alzheimer's 2 years ago December. he was by her side right til the end. he has bee fighting pnuemonia for a few weeks, I guess he isn't in pain now.

I might not make it to deer camp this weekend, sorry guys.
Dave I will drop that electric picture frame in the mail so you can try it, if it doesn't work I'll just get it back come hunting season.

Sorry about your loss Ryan. Just as I lost my grandma on September 5th, she was 91 yrs old, it's hard to go threw but they are in a way better place now. I take comfort in knowing that and someday I will see her again.

Hey Ryan, first off I'm very sorry to hear that. That's very sad, quite a story too.

Secondly, don't worry about the elect picture frame. We'll get along just fine, no sense in running around mailing stuff. It's not that important.

Sorry Ryan. We'll keep him in our thoughts.

I was in Duluth last weekend for my step grandpa's funeral. He was lost because of Alzheimer's too. Not easy stuff.
