A company called "Horus Vision" also sells this type of equipment. It goes along with their 'scopes. probably find more users on a tactical site rather than hunting. Not too many elk/deer hunters doing hostage rescue at the moment (??) & heaven forbid mentioning shooting at anything past the unheard of distance of 50 yds. not ethical & sporting, old chap.

Exbal is a great program for long range. He has a version for both Palm OS and Pocket PC. Another excellent program that runs on a Palm is pocket SharpShooter Friend (pSSF) and this program is freeware!

Here's a download link for pSSF

www.longrangehunting.com

I'll be using one in the future. I suspect it'll be exbal also.

Do a search over there. Wont' get jumped for long range shots either. Look at the 800+ shot on an elk and all the way to go notes

There's quite a few competitive makes and models. I'm using a Palm Tungsten T3 and am very pleased with it.

Thought I'd post a photo of mine...

I used to haul a Shooter's Notebook to the range for load testing, now everything is on the Palm along with Exbal and pSSF for long range shooting. They are a handy rig, more computing power than you'd imagine.
