I don't think a level 1 vest is worth the cost however...if it makes you feel better about having it...get it...and since it is a Second Chance, it is probably over built so it may stop more than it is listed to stop (in my experiences with Second Chance since 1985, they have always over built their vests far exceeding their NIJ levels marked when Rich Davis ran the show)...just like so many other items we buy (and some later sell off )...if it helps give you the confidence or buys you a little time and doesn't put you in the poor house...where's the harm...just as long as...and it has been mentioned before...it doesn't give you the over confidence to do something stupid... Bill Exactly. You need to behave exactly as you would were you not wearing it. I would think that would be true even if you were wearing Dragon Skin.

I'll bet any of you guys a sixer of beer.. Given TRH's level of delusional paranoia, he'll be sleeping in the vest very soon.
I replace valve cover gaskets every 50K, if they don't need them sooner...

A too small vest should make for a real uncomfortable sleep, but safety has a price to be paid.

Lots of blank pages up there, but based on this comment, I'm somewhat intrigued about the direction this discussion seems to have taken? Still not going to look. I've learned that some member's posts are virtually never worth reading, but sleeping in a ballistic vest? That's ... well ... unique. I'll just leave it at that.
