Well,cabins is cabins. The REAL heart of a great deer camp are the screwballs who lurk there. Northern Dave has a far edge 'cuz he has mucho screwball pards, a purty and cool Hunney that enjoys it and a CUTE cuzin (I'm STILL in love wid Muffy) and RWS and PWM and mebbe sometimes even Weezy as part of his overall crew.

What a night in the forest it was? We had a blast as always, ecspecially when BKK came out to tell tall tales. laughed all the way home. What a day it was yesterday, got our outhouse primed and painted, then mowed some grass and headed to the forest for an evening drive with the kids! Good to see you all again.
It is a silly fish that is caught twice with the same bait!

After the rain stopped here on Friday afternoon, it turned into a beautiful weekend.
Had the Princess' Sweet 16th on Fri night. Crawled into bed at 2am. Up for 6:30 & Deb & I went for a drive ta find some chickens. Saw lots & they're big buggers this year, but cagey & quick. Deb shot one that was the size of a turkey !! Must be due to the early fall, almost an extra months growing, over last year.
When we reached our favourite trail, the culvert was completely washed out. MMmm, parked the truck & decided to walk it. 1 hour each way. Boy it was beautiful. Crisp, clean & fresh.
Ended up with 5.
Back home & at the wood pile by 11.
Sunday was the fall work party at the local Ski hill.
Boy, I'm tired.

Actually I thought about it too. It was deep. His wheeler is an Artic Cat Prowler, which is a big side by side like a Polaris Ranger. Very cool rig...I want one.
