I have a Tang Safety Ruger in Bob AI on it's way....
There are a few bullets I'd like to give a try including the Horn Interlock in 117Gr. I don't have a doubt It will kill whitetails but I'd still like to ask for your experiences.
Thanks.

I had a 25-06 that shot those 117gr bullets very well. It never killed a whitetail, but the pronghorn, black tails and mulies did not like it much.

I've had a .257 AI on a Mark X action for 30+ years. It's been my favorite deer, antelope, and sheep rifle and also shot a mountain caribou and one of my biggest 6 pt elk with it.
I've mostly shot 117 gr GameKings, but have also used 120 Hornady HP bullets with equally good results.
If the 117 gr Interlock is accurate in your rifle, you'll have no trouble dropping whitetails.

CLB-to what ranges? If a woods rig then I'd take a serious look at the 117 RN Horn. It's incredibly accurate and very game capable.

no doubt a good bullet, I am sticking with 100's. The TSX and TTSX shoot well in mine, however I have got more 25 caliber bullets of every flavor just because I really like the Roberts cartridge. Its funny in mine the 100's shoot well, the 117's and 115 Nos BT shoots well but the 110 Nos AB wont hit a bull in the arse.

My Roberts is the same jimmyp, for some reason I can't get the AB to work while the others do fairly well. Most 100s are varmint accurate in this rifle.

Dober, I'd say max range around 200 yards +/- a few. I was thinking of the RN but I have not found any yet.

I like the idea of the Horns and I also have some 120 NPT's on the way over. CLB

I use the 115 Partitions in my .257 Weatherby. It's whallop medicine for deer. It really whallops their azzes at all ranges. They are not as accurate as some of the other bullets however but they are plenty accurate for deer. I may need to crash into the 90's and buy some Accubonds or something that all you guys talk about. Interestingly, nothing is more accurate in mine than the 117 RN cheap (relatively) Norma loads that I bought from Midway. I am going to try them on deer this year. I never shoot past 200 yards anyway.

There are a few bullets I'd like to give a try Hopefully one of them is the 100 grain Interlock.

I could never get the 117 Hdy.BTSP to shoot in my guns. They were so bad, I gave them away to a guy to try in his 25-06. Have better accuracy with the Sierra 117 gr. Pro Hunter, or the 100 gr. Hdy. Interlock. I may need to try the 120 RN for an accuracy load.

Have never owned a 25 cal. rifle, which might be sacrilige, but have killed a boat load of deer with Interlocks in a bunch of other calibers and have never had a complaint. If they shoot in your rifle I would think they would be a great choice. Since I live in Nebraska I always try to support the hometown boys and they haven't dissapointed me yet.
