Wow, 737lb. bear. Can't even imagine how excited that young boy was. Would like to see pics of that one.

Some BS'ing? Anyone happen to notice that everyone was wearing hip boots. Rumor has it there's not a single pair of new hip boots available anywhere within 50 miles of Chickenbuck! laugh

too bad the pic frame things didn't work, I'll be sure to bring my laptop up next round.

buried my grandpa today, had a nice ceremony and the local Veterans group did the 21 gun salute and presented the flag to his last living son. found out my grandpa earned the silver star for when he was wounded at Leyte. apparently even after he was wounded he saved a lot of guys lives by still commanding his platoon from a stretcher and staying in the jungle for 2 days before getting back to the hospital. I'm wiped out and have a mountain of homework to do before school tomorrow

Oh wait...we had those the next day. Hmmm must have been those fattening crapolades....oh yeah...we had those later.

Hmmmm confused

You have all heard about the white bear and the red bear etc. but I don't belive anybody has mentioned the "gummy bear"

grin

Glad to have you back Ryan. When they do the 21 gun salute is when I really loose it.

I forgot to mention when dad and I got through all the mud and to the gravel road leaving camp, dad checked the ratchet straps on the Prowler. 3 of the 4 straps were completely unhooked from the trailer. That could have been very bad. Can't believe they did that, they were darn tight.

Lots of bouncing. I had to stop in Bermidji and tighten mine too.

How do you dare post internet pictures of Arctic Cat machines in use at Chickenbuck? That is worse than the Ford/Chev discussion!

Well the arctics and the polaris's are locally built machines.

Wow what a nice weather week we are having, looks like this coming weekend would have been the weekend to be at camp as far as the water situation goes.

Welcome back Ryan. I'm sure you would have preferred to be in camp with the rest of the gang.

Interesting story about your grandpa at Leyte. His generation was truley extraordinary. I lost a cousin at the battle of Leyte. His body was returned to the states in the early 50's and was the first funeral I ever attended. I was 7 or 8 at the time.
