Gonna have to go with the Digital Camera with rear screen. When the pic turns out bad you know it and you can just keep taking them till you get it right.

(Put your markers within flashlight distance of each other; place two at any turn or bend, no matter how slight use a couple closely spaced where paths diverge (or converge, since they'll be diverging in the other direction); be sure they are visible from where your eyes will be. I have a couple more hard-learned tips, but I forget them!)
