probably go with "UP NORT MINNESOTA"

we'll see what ma says.

I should be able to mail the stuff for the prices stated earlier. $10, $20, $25 t-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies.

I'll probably ask for PM's for orders, not sure how else to do it.

PM's would probably be easier for you to track.

"Up Nort Minnestoa" is cool. Since most of us say dat anyways.

ok I think this is it, cleaned up a bit as far as the character lines, filled the gun barrel in black, added the "up nort Minnesota"

I like it.

Big silk screen sign for the cabin would rock too. Maybe we could all pitch in for that.

Looks grand! However, there are so many colors to choose from, what is a guy to do?????? Can you link to the colors by chance? It is hard to know which is darker, lighter, etc., which hides stains and drool marks better, which would hide Tzone Tears after he locks up and misses Forky Toes.... sick

Got some new tires on today. Falken Rocky Mountain ATS. bought 2 for now get the other 2 in a month or so.

First shakedown run...BIG difference over the others. Decent looking off road tread too. 50K mi tire too.

It would have to hide beer stains too. But I don't miss so that shouldn't be a problem. whistle

I'm very frustrated with what I've found on shipping costs.

If I can fit a t-shirt in a large flat rate envelope it goes for $4.90 Sweatshirts would have to go in small boxes I suppose Which are more yet.

That's more than I expected.

So, with that bad news I guess t-shirts would be $12.50 *edited $13.75 shipped.

Regular sweatshirts would be $27.50 *edited $28.25 shipped.

Hoodies $29.25 *edited $30.00 shipped.

Who's idea was it to let the government run the post office?

crazy

here is what I have found for colors for that brand of shirt (I hope this is right)

[Linked Image]

edited because I looked at the actual cost to ship in the flat rate box that will fit a stupid sweatshirt, unreal! Stupid post office! Also forgot the printer's setup charge so added 75 cents per item to help offset that, again sorry. frown

T, what size you running & what did they set ya back down there.

I gotta get winter tires for my "new" F150 !!

It came with Goodyear Wrangler MT/R's - LT 285/70R17's & they have been great for the spring & summer bush work, but aint gunna cut the mustard in winter up here. Drove home in the rain the other night & was breaking lose at every gear change !!

Paul,
There is a website (sorry, lost the link for it) that compares different tires. People log in and rate their tires on a whole bunch of different things...winter traction, wet traction, durability, etc. If you could find it, that would give you a lot of good info. If'n I remember right, there were thousands or hundreds of thousands of ratings which weeds out the anecdotal ones. I used that to buy my BF Goodrich All Terrain TAs and I loved them. Absolutely loved them. I have Goodyear Wrangler ATSs now and I like them, not quite as much but close. Seem to wear a bit faster.

Size was 265-65-17. A goofy size and more $. They were $159 a tire at Discount Tire. For some reason I had the same size on my 2000 F-150. They are the most $ for any size I looked at. If I was going to buy all 4 at once I'd have bought the 265-70-17's. A bit bigger and cheaper in price.

did you look at what it would cost for just regular 1st class? I bet they would be light enough where it wouldn't cost so dang much

Cheers Guys,

Thanks for the replies.

Unfortunately, unless I want to drive 400kms to a "real City", I'm stuck with the only dealer in town. Don't get me wrong, he is a great guy & really cares about his customers, however, without serious competition, his prices are what the are.

Usually lets you pay 'em off over 3 months if you buy a full set.

I haven't even talked to him yet, but am expecting $250ish per !

I really don't know Ryan, I haven't been in a post office in years. From what I can find online it's based on weight for certain envelope sizes or packages.

But you need to have a package.

So we'd be about town shopping for packages then weighing & paying and ... I don't know. It just looks like the flat rate stuff is quick & simple. I have no shipping experience, we have no "ups store" or anything like that up here.

Hey Paul, I don't know if your guy can get firestone but we just put a set of inexpensive tires on Pam's rig that I have used before in winter and summer and I really liked them, especially on snow.

They are called firestone winterforce.

265/70-17 were about $110 US each mounted & balanced.

Little on the soft side, probably a 30k mile tire but for that price, hell who cares.

Damn impressive snow tire (I think)
