That is what I usually buy. But at $250 per tire...I don't need them that bad.

I know man, those of us lucky enough to be within reach without mail will save.

Damn I'm still mad about the shipping cost

dammit, forgot about the printers setup charge. I have to edit the price in my post a little further back.

In the main forum I added 75 cents per item to offset the setup charges.

I've used the flat rate boxes before because they are free, and then wrap them in paper from a paper bag. if they are light it will be cheaper. flat rate is awesome for shipping brass and bullets but light stuff can go either 1st class or regular priority.

hey that's great news!!

Dusty won a 20 gauge 870 remington on a raffle but when he took the shot gun out of the box at camp last weekend we discovered it was a 12 gauge in a 20 gauge box. He had his heart set on a 20 gauge, bought shells and everything.

I take it they must have just been switched in the wrong boxes.

Thats funny Ryan, I was just thinking of a flag before I read your post. I would pitch in for that. Although I was thinking of putting it on the cabin, but Pam's tree sounds like a good idea. I'm sure people would still run into it though. laugh

Unfortunately, unless I want to drive 400kms to a "real City", I'm stuck with the only dealer in town. Don't get me wrong, he is a great guy & really cares about his customers, however, without serious competition, his prices are what the are.

Usually lets you pay 'em off over 3 months if you buy a full set.

I haven't even talked to him yet, but am expecting $250ish per !

Paul.

My wife and I have bought 2 sets of tires from Vulcan Tire sales , they get delivered to the door.
Just checked and they deliver to Canada as well.

They are called firestone winterforce.

265/70-17 were about $110 US each mounted & balanced.

Little on the soft side, probably a 30k mile tire but for that price, hell who cares.

Damn impressive snow tire (I think)

Cheers Dave,

I'll ask him & see what he can do.

Cheers Phil,

But I'll try do stay local, if at all possible.

My guys good, he's just not cheap.

I've still got a couple of years worth of tread on the Wranglers. If I buy from Stuart, he will swap out at each season end free of charge & will also do tire repairs for free, if bought from him.

Paul.

Muffy, is it called Pam's tree for a reason ?

Enquiring minds need to know !

IIRC, Pam likes the tree, but everyone backs into it when pulling out of chickenbuckk. It has it's fair share of scars.
