We just got back from a week's trip, spent mostly down on the KP, enjoyed every single minute. We live in back-woods dairy farm country out here in the east, pretty country and good hunting, but Ak still holds something special, even with with all the growth and "progress"?. Good time, good fishing, and as I have come to expect from my other trips up there, real good people. Really good folks. No place is perfect, and AK is no exception, but it is one beautiful place. I think we all tend to overlook the beauty and benefits we enjoy when we live somewhere for a while, I am no different.
Good or bad, the politics you have going at the moment is the "same crap-different state" we are all dealing with.
Best to you all,
Dave
