Best price?????
Holy mackeral, at 1/2 off it's still a fortune. Gotta pay for those 3 page magazine spreads and fancy displays in all the adult disneylands like cabelas..
Yeah, I'm not a fan.
I replace valve cover gaskets every 50K, if they don't need them sooner...

I kind of put it in the Scentlock catagory as well.

It does look well made, and I have friends (top grade western style hunters) who are sluts for the stuff. But to me, good quality sells itself, look at carhartt..
I wonder how much the sitka stuff would cost if they didn't do their over the top marketing.

The same that the Russell gear goes for. It's the same crap with a different sticker. I have a full set of the Sitka crap, and it's good stuff. That said, I paid between 60-75% off for all of it, and still don't feel like I got a great deal. I just got back from a four day elk hunt in 80-90 degree weather and only took their zip t as a camo top layer. Big mistake. After the first day of sweating in it, that shirt smelled like a fat chick's crotch.

Sitka shirts are on www.camofire.com rite now. Sitka stuff shows up now and then. The 90% pants were on couple weeks ago and the celsius bibs last week. Sign up for their e-mails and get notified

There is a lot of SITKA gear on another forum called archerytalk.com. Some is used, some not. Usually about half price from new.
I have purchased some items this summer and fall and have been very pleased with it.

$600 for their coat....i think not. i work at a sporting goods store and can get it for 50% of what our price is but i still wont spend the money on it. IMO Russell Outdoors gear is just as good for a fraction of the cost. Just about all i ever wear during hunting season is a couple of sweatshirts or if its real cold, my camo wool coat
