Feels good to actually post some interesting pictures of the stuff I do. Last couple of BIG projects I've worked on with this company, I can't post pictures due to non-disclosure agreements. It's the nature of the beast..

Got sent onto this job a few weeks ago, it's a expansion of the local regional Airport - lodge style: Open beam ceilings, stone work, the total Cabela's look. We're flying in Glu-lams and roofing like mad trying to get it buttoned up before snow starts falling (might be next week). Interior wise, mainly what I'm doing unless there's a fire elsewhere, we're putting up steel brackets and posts onto the main steel framing to hang miles of architectural Glu-lam facias and beams.

Two thumbs up! That's some beautiful work.

Thanks for sharing!

Dude, nice!

Those look like some hefty chunks of wood, no [bleep] around there, good thing you guys are wearing hardhats. And I'd still rather crawl in the dirt than work that high up....(grin)

How high is the tallest beam?

That's cool, now I gotta ask, are there enough folks in Montana to justify an airport that large? wink

Back in the heartland, Thank God!

40-50 feet at the highest ridge. I was up there a couple of weeks ago watching a lightning storm come in.

And I almost forgot, Loco is driving here in 4 days.

Plenty of house projects.
Maybe we'll build a fence instead of antelope hunting on opening day.

IMO, it's serving the tourist. We'll have directs to/from all the major cities in the nation before long. TIFWIW..

Rancho, looks like the same designer built one in these parts (Pellston, MI) about 8 years ago. Greatr little airport that I choose to fly out of even though there is another 'port much closer. This one is NICE, and the staff quite accommodating. Don't expect schit questions when you are traveling with guns, expect smart questions as to where and who with and for how long.... followed by a best of luck.

50' is a long way up working over concrete with chit storms around!

Do those lifts sway much that high up?

And no doubt, Bozeman is tourist central with Big Sky/Bridger in the mix. We've flown out of there a couple times(few years back) and it didn't seem crowded at the time but good project you guys are working on, big job!

They do move a bit.. We've gotta be hooked up to keep from getting bucked off, but I'd rather have the chance to jump if they were go over.
