I got a what looks like a 10 point buck on my camera. I will post it when I get back from returning a job application. I am applying at the place that made our Chickenbuck hats. I know the owners but I have no experience doing that sort of thing. So we will see what happens.

The picture is taken looking out into our neighbors field. I'm thinking about moving it again. I want to move it to another stand that is on the corner of our property. It overlooks the pond where the deer go and take a drink.

I checked today and my batteries in my trail camera are still at 90%. That is pretty good.

That is very good battery life. That Hunten Outdoor Cam I bought takes 4 c's and they only last 2 - 3 weeks. That is good to know that the D55 is not a battery eater since it takes 6 c's.

I'm going to put mine out today since I'm off work until Tuesday. Took a little vacation time to get things ready for winter around here. Normally I wait and wait and I end up scrambling to get everything put away in the first snow/sleet storm. Plus I can't stand sitting in my office in the fall when the weather is this perfect.

So Rooster, did you lose a clip for your MKII also or did you only have 1 before?

I used to do that too Rooster. Try to get my work dne early and get out of the office in the early afternoon.

In Wausua, it was usually on Wednesdays. For some reason I liked to bow hunt on Wednesday. Then again on the weekend.

I miss it. I didn't think I would but I do. I'm going to bang on some doors this winter and try to find a spot to bowhunt.

Tzone - It sounds to me like you could stick one right off your deck. No?

Tom, if you have that much deer activity I would put a bucket with a dab of corn in the bottom of it come spring. when the bucks come by to eat it, it knocks their horns off. pretty cool trick smile

Missy, since we've had warm weather this week, and tomorrow is supposed to be hot, I would try the water, thats a great idea!

Rooster- how many rounds does your mag hold? mine only holds 9 but is not a mkII it just says "ruger semi auto" its pre-MKI I think.

Dave I just had a crazy dream, you, Pam and the boys were in it, I started off as a hit man, then a flood came and then it was like Cujo with a weird zombie twist. makes no sense to me, but weird LOL. I think its because I've worked 74 hours in the last week and still gone to school when I'm taking 16 credits. my brain is playing tricks on me with this lack of sleep

I had the good fortune to meet Mr. Tzone yesterday while I was in the cities. It was fun to meet him and hear all the inside dirt on some of you folks. Wow, who woulda thunk some of you had that wild side in ya? wink

Cole got to meet Joe Mauer on Sunday, he was pretty excited!
