I didnt think throwing out that bait would get me so many takers! There must be some skeletons in a few closets up thataway! Nope, Tzone didnt spill the beans, but now that we know there are some beans, we all wanna hear these good stories! By the way, do you know how the saying "pulling your chain" came about? Miners had a honey wagon (where they deposited the previous nites supper if'n ya know what I mean). So when nature called, they would find the honey wagon and it was on rails just like the other carts down there. They didnt want it to move while they were taking care of business so they would put a small chain under the wheels. If there was a practical joker in the bunch, he would slip up quiet like and pull your chain and give the honey wagon a shove. So there you were, ridiing a cart full of poop with your pants around your ankles. I bet there were some fisticuffs as a result of that stuff. So yeah, I was pulling your collective chains!

It is a silly fish that is caught twice with the same bait!

good morning everyone! I'm wired as can be but had an awesome morning, one of the guys I work with invited me to go duck hunting when we got off our shift, I told him I didn't have a shotgun or license and he offered me his 870 for the SEASON! well I didn't get a license bought but still tagged along for the hunt, the two I was with got 6 ducks and a goose that I called in to a spread of duck decoys at 9am. it was awesome fun, I haven't duck hunted in about 8 years. I think I might need to go buy a shottie heat has shut us down til sunday afternoon so I'm gonna pick up my boy and have some quality father son time since I've had to be away from him the last week (aside from a couple visits). I might even take a nap at some point, it feels like 9pm to me

Oh no T, better yet is install or activate the tracking system, that is even more fun when they try and figure out how you know where they have been.
Other fun things are live feed pin cameras installed in vehicles, really messes with folks.
A cheap simple old school trick is to take a cassette recorder set it to long play attach it under the seat or in dead space of the armrest and hit record right before they leave.
Nowadays there are mountable ant mikes that you can install anywhere and it transmits the audio to a recorder by wireless.
To bad the momma wont let me do anything of those things...yet.

I love the picture you posted up top in the main forum of you & your boy. great picture. Yeah I am heading out there and I'm meeting my dad out there. He's joining our camp this year, making the move from the old iron range camp to camp chickenbuck. I feel like tomorrow is deer opener just because I'm so excited to spend a camp weekend with the old man. He brings a lot to our camp for me. Him and I have been around a little bit together, usually tredging through missery of some sort on our DIY adventures. But I have so many deer camp memories witht he old man, him and I get rolling on a sarcastic comedy spree, it gets out of control. The belly muscles get a workout, thats for sure, laugh till it hurts, then laugh some more. I'll bring the camera.

It's more southern that you.
I'm headed up there tomorrow. Going to help pa with some stuff around the yard that he needs done before the snow flies. I'm going to try to make it up to the range camp on Sunday for a couple hours and fix my stands up.

I am just thinking of how fun it is going to be during deer hunting with you, your dad, and my dad. I'm sure there will be some good stories told. I'm sure there are some stories that your dad and my dad have that we probly shouldn't hear.
I am out of order until further notice. My "stupid people" filter needs cleaning and my "give a damn" batteries have run out.
