So today I had to go into work early which I don't mind because it just means I get off early and get to spend time with my family sooner. Anyways, today my youngest son is 1 month old. Yeah, time sure flies huh?  Well, festivities were shortly live. My oldest son comes rushing into the house after about 20 minutes after I got home and was going on about one of his friends he was riding with had crashed. I didn't think too much of it, but when I went outside to see it was clear the kid's arm was broken. Not sure if the kid was in shock or just a tough kid because he wasn't crying at all, just complaining he couldn't move it. He made a nice dent in the side of my POS Civic, but that was last thing on my mind obviously. So Andy and I take the kid a few houses down back to his house and the kid is then taken to the hospital. With all the sue happy parents in the country today, I was worried about that, but as I was thinking that, the kid's dad offered to pay for the damages to my car. I said it was okay and that as long as his son was okay that's all that matters. So his parents thanked me for bringing their kid home and thene they left for the hospital. It's things like that that make me proud to be a parent and a common sense parent who KNOWS kids can't live in bubbles and do hurt themselves and that's it's all a part of growing up. From what I read, it seems there way too many parents out there who would have used this opportunity to make a quick buck at their kid's expense.
I'm Libertarian for these 3 reasons:
1.) I'm American
2.) I'm not insane enough to be Democrat
3.) I'm not wussy enough to be Republican
