There are a goodly number of regulars here that got banned from shooters.com. They really didn't need a reason they just starting banning folks until they ban themselve's right off the net.

Not in this lifetime.
But, I've eliminated myself from one other Forum, for good reason I might add.
My approach is that I'm a guest on all Forums I visit, and I try to act accordingly, most of the time anyway... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I was booted from the Scout Rifle forum for noting that there are flaws in the concept, and providing evidence from my own experience.

The owner could not abide (constructive) criticism of the scout rifle, nor of Jeff Cooper.

I learned forum posting on the Corvette Forum and I got rated down to 95% by taking on a moderator.

Then I got banned or could not get on the ShortMags.Org forum for giving my opinion of some gun. Then I got back on and one of the regulars from AR and maybe here got "suspended" there so I quit the place in protest.

A lot of guys got banned from HA but not me and why I don't know.

That's my story.

I got booted from a University of Virginia football message board but that's mainly because I went to Virginia Tech and they're a bunch of arrogant douchebags.

I know a few guys on this board that have been booted from Shortmags.org for disagreeing with the Moderator over there.

Well not yet, I do push the edge of the envelope at times with my "jokes" though. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Humor, however faint, is one of the things that seperates us from the animals...

I got myself "suspended" from the old Shooters board for making an off-color joke (it WAS funny, though). Had myself taken off HA and Shortmags (twilight zones, both). Other than that, I try not to type anything I would not say to someone's face. FWIW, Dutch.

This is your first post here, wonder if your trying to stir the pot a little, or maybe you like to dwell on the past.
Go over to the AR forum and check into the political section. No one has been banned from there unless you are pro American and anti diaper head!
If you have any American blood running thru your veins at all....you will ban yourself from that piece of dog crap forum.

I was banned from johnkerry.com for continually bringing up contentious facts. They never gave me a valid reason other than I was 'disrupting' the community. Hell that�s what Republicans are for damnit!
In all actuality they were correct because I only signed on to give em hell with all the facts I could muster.

Somehow I've managed not to be banned from any forums. The forums that had their administrators go ban/edit happy I no longer visit.

Anyone who spends time in the AR political forum has problems, it is definately a cesspool.

Never been banned from any MB's but have banned a few from my list of faves.Don't like to get confrontational,life's too short for that $hit.

No problem admitting it for me.

Marshall banned me from HuntAmerica one night when he got happy with the ban button. I really couldn't figure out at the time what I posted that got him so upset. I think the fact I was from Washington had more to do with it than what I said. Anyway his explanation to me was:

"This whole thing was rather odd.. I don't really know why it ballooned why it did but probably something to do with the position of the stars and planets... I would like to have you reinstated after things cool down if you are still interested.. "

I respectively declined, saying I had no hard feelings but that I was probably better off not posting there any longer. I read far more than I ever post on any of the boards anyway. Although my tastes in rifles as a rule run a bit different than many here I have greatly enjoy reading about what all the folks here use and also appreciate their photos. I have had some great dealings and correspondence with some here, and it remains my favorite site.
