Thanks! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> I'm thrilled with how it turned out - and all the credit goes to Dozier. The size is almost a half/half melding of the Arkansas Traveler and the Bird&Trout. The blade is 2-7/8" and OAL is 6-3/4" like the B&T while the steel is .125 D2 like the AT (vs the thicker standard .135 from the B&T) The scales are quite thin so the handle isn't clunky and the balance is great.
I really like Scott Cook knives. I'm from Idaho and have always been a huge Sebenza fan. I clearly remember the first Owyhee hunter I ever saw. A buddy (knowing my penchant for Sebbies) came home from the Sportsman Show in Boise and casually said "Hey, did you know that guy Scott from Chris Reeve is on his own now making a fixed blade?'" as he tossed me a small box and added "Check this out." It was a small Owyhee in BG-42 with dark olive linen micarta scales in that Gfeller sheath....man I nearly flipped! If Scott would only make a small Lochsa my knife buying might be satisfied forever!

Every normal man must be tempted, at times, to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin slitting throats.

Here's just some of mine, a man can't have too many knives.

Gentlemen, thank you all very much for your replies, experiences and pictures. I now know just enough to be dangerous. Thank you again. Okie John
If Montana had a standing army, a 270 Win with Federal Blue Box 130's would be the standard issue.
