I finally got my .22 Mag out to the range this week. All I can say is what a sweet shooter.
I took the rifle along just to mess around with during a lull in my deer/grouse hunting trip. So, I was not really prepared with solid sand bags and such. Shooting over a rolled up gun case, I hit the X (at a hundred yards) enough to make me think I got a real shooter. Yes, I had a couple of fliers, but I only have about fifteen to twenty rounds down the barrel as well. I only had some Winchester HP's, so I have not experimented much yet.

Let us know how it shoots once you have a chance to really give it a go. I always wanted one of them....

Shot my buddies this weekend and what a sweet trigger it has. I am just a little envious of him.

I bought it new. The wood is ok, a little grain showing. It feeds good. I may not leave the Weaver V4-16 on it, but I wanted to see how accurate it is. I am pleased with it.

Very nice! Mine is a bit odd in that it is an "American Varmint" It is stamped "American" with the matte finish receiver and a Varmint barrel, came that way from the factory. .
