I think it is going to be great. I brought it into the woods, lifted up my rifle and everything was so clear. I didn't have to fight with trying to focus in on something like I did with my other one. We are going to the shooting range by Twin Valley to sight it in one day.

What caliber is the Browning Muffy?

Stopped at the gunsmith this morning to pick up a pound of powder for the Swede. Scott showed me the Kimber 84 in 308 that he won at the Friends of the NRA raffle this past weekend. Wow! His mother won a Kimber 45 auto that night too. Some people have all the luck. I could have had all but 2 tickets and guess which ones would win.

mmmmm, Kimbers. smile

I like them, had one in .308 that didn't shoot the best, but in hindsite, it wasn't horrible either. Nuther one a guy should have kept I suppose. I'd like to shoot a kimber Montana. Preferably one in .338 fed, then I would like the person that lets me shoot it, to sell it to me increadibly cheap. grin

Please mow that path in the swamp Dave. It always makes for an interesting story. I'll even come along for the rescue mission if you want. grin

If it's bad enough to bring the big dozer, I'm just gonna push him a ditch & save him from all of his water issues! Shhhh.... Don't tell the DNR.
I mightcould find some more interesting toys to bring on a rescue mission tho....
Now go sink Lil Blue, Dave!!!!

It is a 270. I really like the gun. Jeremy bought it for me when I first started hunting about 10 years ago.

I know what you mean about some people having all the luck. My dad won a gun at our snowmobile club raffle about 4 years ago. And he (well mom) won a 20 ga. about a month ago. I never win.

I couldn't get out there. I really can't during the week now. The bigger kids are both in sports and the little guy rides the bus home. I have to be home for him when he comes off the bus and if it's a mild adventure me & the little guy head out but swamp mowing isn't something I can do with the little guy.

But I'm sure he would tell you what to do and how to do it. laugh

If you had any problems, I'm sure he would have the tool to fix it.

2 days before the big youth Hunt. So many deer, so many choices. It should be alot of fun the first time out with the daughter. she's already making bets with her friends on who gets the big deer. gotta love it!!
