the cabinets look even better in daylight Pam. We had fun with you all the other evening, any deer out there. My daughter missed on a spike sunday evening, the deer was facing us so i know it was a hard shot, not alot of body to shoot at, and i usually wouldnt let her chance it but she was pretty excited about seeing on. We still got the regular season coming so we should be fine. it'll make me more picky i think at what i shoot now, have her shoot a doe maybe. lots of them around us. 10 days to go!!

Rained all night here and we're getting the high winds that they talked about. Temps will be dropping all day and we still have flurries in the forecast for Wed & Thurs.

Cabinets looking good.

Oh man, the weather up here is crappy. Windy with rain that turned to snow about 2 hours ago. Brrr!

This weather is somethin else. It rained sideways all day. Wind out of the west/northwest. I heard on the radio on the way home the wind was 60 mph at times. Its snowing now and the wind is not letting up.

The football God's must be very angry that the Packers beat the Vikings on a bunch of trumped up calls and the 'ol geezer throwing pics. grin

I actually thought about going out with the bow after work to see if anything was moving but then got the vision of my arrow coming out of the bow and ending up stuck in Tzones siding. He's about 250 miles east. grin

Have a safe journey Dave!

Snowing here now. We hit a bunch of sleet and freezing rain on the way home from Duluth last nigh.

It was a miserable trip. I was sick before we left and should have stayed home. But being bull headed, I didn't. It never stopped raining and we got soaked. We brought a change of clothes and needed it. We were soaked to the bone, I'm sure I had the early stages of hypothermia. I couldn't get warm until last night.

We did get the rest of the deer stands fixed, and found a pretty decent spot and built one more. my BIL even shot a grouse in that crap.

If you could get it to stick in the roof, I say go for it. We need a new roof in a few years and that would speed up the process.

Where the heck are you from that it wasn't pouring?

We left my house at 6:45am from near forest lake, and it rained all the way to 20 mi north of Duluth. Rained all day, including the trip home.

We decided about 1/2 way there it was too late to turn back, though we should have anyway. It sucked.

Shopping at the Mall of America this weekend I ran into 2 Vikings cheerleaders. I bought Jeremy an autographed cheerleader calendar.

The way the wind is blowing you may get you're wish on a roof. Highest wind gust here was 58 MPH. The highest I've found so far was 79 MPH over in Calumet County somewhere near Lake Winnebago.

My SIL is off this week and is up at his deer camp. His power went out around 4:00 AM and is still out. Some trees down also.

Wind is starting to die down now. I'll actually have to go look at our roof. It was really whipping yesterday.
