I have not cast bullets in quite a while and am getting set to start up again. I have only cast bullets using an iron pot over a propane stove to melt the lead in the past. The newer electric furnaces look like they would be quicker and easier to use. Is this true or should I stick with my iron pot?

I find a good bottom-pour setup much easier and faster, as well as having better temp comtrol. Probably wouldn't cast, without it. Then again, wouldn't have a big pile of lead stored away in the shop, either.

Bottom pour electric is the only way to go IMHO.
