I never dismissed opinion,because I was simply stating facts.
As to trigger time,I needn't travel,regardless of Manufacturer..................

Maybe I'm missing something. Isn't the roberts a 7x57 necked down to 257 and isn't the parent case about .200 or so too long for a short action?

Maybe I'm missing something. Isn't the roberts a 7x57 necked down to 257 and isn't the parent case about .200 or so too long for a short action? Max COL for a .257 Roberts is less than that of a .308Win, which is less than a 7x57. And yes, the .257 Roberts is a necked down 7x57.
