I really like the 44 mag. Easy to load for a very wide power range. Lots of bullet styles to play with.

I love the 41 magnum. I have killed numerous deer and hogs weighing up to 300lbs with it.

agreed.
But now for semi autos, it's 10 mm .

I'm having a great time working up different loads for it.

.32 S&W Long. Pound for pound the most fun next to a .22. The heavy stuff (.45 Colt and .45ACP) gets fired enough to keep my hand in, but I get the most pleasure out of light recoil/low noise stuff.

I just cant decide. They all have their own purpose. I love my 1911s, but also have a blackhawk 357 that is just a tack driver and a joy to shoot. My 44mags also have a special place in my heart. Good grief, I talk about my guns like they are women. I must have some serious issues.

I've used the 40 S&W the last 11 years policing and its a good cartridge. That said I much prefer the 9mm must be my Teutonic Heritage.

Will Munny: It's a hell of a thing, killing a man. Take away all he's got and all he's ever gonna have.

The Schofield Kid: Yeah, well, I guess they had it coming.
